Yoga Nidra: Deep Relaxation for the New Year

Carol CollinsRejuvenate and relax in the New Year by attending our Yoga Nidra workshop, taking place Sunday, January 4th from 4:30 – 6:00 pm at our Dupont studio. We will move through a candlelight slow flow yoga asana practice followed by a very restful yoga nidra practice. Yoga nidra (or yogic sleep) involves relaxing in savasana with blanket support as the teacher leads you through guided relaxation and visualization. Yoga nidra is excellent in reducing stress, blood pressure, and setting positive intention (or sankalpa). It is a perfect antidote to the pace of our stressful lives!
