Unwind the effects of stress and trauma on the mind and body. Start to understand how daily experiences or severe events can leave an impact on physical, social and psychological wellness. Explore how yoga and tools of somatic awareness can help reduce the reactivity related to stress and trauma. Discover how safety, self-acceptance, empowerment, movement, and rhythm can be powerful tools for recovery. This workshop will include lecture, discussion, and a gentle practice. Please bring a journal to write in.
