Join Danielle Pollen on Thursday, November 27 from 9:30am – 11:00am at TS Dupont for a reflective yin practice before Thanksgiving!
This charity yoga class is appropriate for all levels and will incorporate both yin yoga and yang (or active) yoga. Yin yoga focuses on passive asanas with breath work and meditation to create a very deep, integrated and satisfying practice. Complementary to active vinyasa, yin yoga targets the deep, dense connective tissues of the body — the tendons, ligaments and cartilage — which are difficult to energize and open.
$15 suggested donation – money raised will go to So Others Might Eat, a DC group that works on hunger and homelessness issues.
