Favorite part of yoga?
That moment when you realize you’re in the zone, loving the flow and got that monkey mind under control.
Where did you grow up?
Mexico and the Philippines but heck, I’m still growing up, so I’ve gotta include the UK and of course, DC! ; )
Let’s go with the 6th ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ better known as Game of Thrones – HURRY UP Martin! I don’t care about these other books you’re releasing!!!
Favorite piece of art?
I don’t know what it’s called but it’s a huge bronze ‘statue’ of a pair of lips outside Museo del Prado in Madrid. They’re so luscious.
Woman on Top…it’s not what you think! Look it up. It stars Penelope Cruz – before she was Penelope Cruz.
Probably Thai but if I’m talking about a dish, it’s a Filipino dish called ‘sinugno’, which is grilled fish in coconut milk. I’ll have that with garlic rice and spicy soy sauce and I’m in heaven.
Dream vacation or favorite vacation you’ve ever been on?
Oh geez….where to begin? I want to travel the world. But, one of my favourite places on Earth is the Lake District, in England. I love to holiday there – does that count?
Favorite yoga pose and why?
Savasana…duh. Assists in this pose are one of my favourite things. Ever. *cough*hint*cough* to all teachers…
Three people, living or deceased, who you’d invite to the same dinner party?
Isabel Allende (fire cracker of a woman!), Dibora Amanuel (she’s so cool and would be able to ask interesting questions when I’d get nervous) and Laura Leichum (cuz she’s cool too and c’mon, she’s yogi of the month!).
Favorite album or artist?
Santana. Hands down. Finally saw him in concert last month. Dream come true.
