Hips & Twists to the Core with Niyati Shah

Open your hips, engage your core, and liberate your spine! Many of us sit at desks, in cars, on sofas…all day long. Through the asana and breathing instruction in this workshop, we will cultivate awareness of tension and opening in pelvic region. We will work to release the quadriceps and stretch the back body and hamstrings. We’ll flow through a series of twists which will energize your body, release the lower back and open the shoulders and chest. And of course, there’s the core, core core! Core engagement will be sprinkled throughout, and have it’s own special flow during this workshop as well.
