Yoga can be described as a balance between grounding and inspiration, structure and space. While it’s easy to overlook the grounding element of our body in our practice, it really forms the foundation of all of our loftier pursuits. Come join us for a fun exploration of what keeps us grounded, rooted, stable and energized!
We will start with a lecture on the basic anatomy of the lower body not as an intellectual exercise to learn odd Latin names but in a practical and engaging way to help us understand and balance our own unique form. Then using what we have learned we will play with asana to help us discover the power hidden behind the structure of our lower body.
This workshop is designed for yoga teachers and advanced practitioners with a foundational understanding of human anatomy. This workshop is a part of Tranquil Space’s 500-hr Advanced Teacher Training and continuing education credits are available after completion and by request.
