Preparing for Birth with Yoga, Anne Thiel

Come and learn how yoga can help you prepare for labor and childbirth. We will discuss fundamental information about the labor and childbirth process, including birthing positions and coping strategies and implications of the various choices we make. We will then explore how various components of our yoga practice, postures and breath, relate to the birthing process. Through hands-on partner activities, we will practice additional comfort measures and also learn how to support a woman with epidural analgesia. Partners are welcome and need to bring their own yoga mat!
