Approximately 7.3 million women of childbearing age in the United States are unable to become – or stay – pregnant. This diagnosis can be devastating, and pursuing pregnancy – whether through conventional Western medicine or alternative means – can create additional emotional, physical, and financial stress. While yoga cannot change one’s circumstances or guarantee fertility, the practice offers valuable tools for women facing these challenges.
Join Angelyn Shapiro for “Yoga and Fertility: Tools for Healing and Wholeness”, a workshop in which we will explore how asana, pranayama, and swadhyaya can promote healing, encourage compassion toward one’s self and circumstances, and contribute to building a positive narrative that supports women as they move forward on their unique path.
