Favorite part of yoga?
Pretty much everything! I absolutely love our TS community and what every yogi that walks through our door brings to each yoga class. I love how yoga ignites the mind, body, and spirit connection, how you can take things you work through on the mat into your daily life off the mat (and vice versa), and how yoga invites a peaceful post-class bliss.
Where did you grow up?
Eldersburg, MD which is just outside of Baltimore (thus my love of purple, black & orange)
Les Miserables by Victor Hugo. My Mom is a big fan of musicals so I grew up listening to the soundtrack, I first saw the musical when I was 13 and immediately read the book. Since then I’ve reread the book many times and it continues to hands down be my favorite stage production as well.
A tie between It’s a Wonderful Life (and not just at Christmas) & Rudy!
Cereal, seriously I love cereal and I tend to have no less than 7 varieties in my kitchen to choose from at any time. My day never seems quite right if it doesn’t start with a big bowl a cereal for breakfast.
Dream vacation or favorite vacation you’ve ever been on?
In the summer of 2011 my PopPop took myself and his 5 other grandchildren on a cruise from Baltimore to Bermuda. It was 5 wonderful days filled with many fun memories. It’s a trip I’ll cherish forever!
Favorite yoga pose and why?
Pigeon (or better yet, assisted pigeon)! It allows for such a lovely physical and emotional release that just feels oh so good!
Christmas (or the entire month between Thanksgiving and Christmas). It’s a time filled with family and friends, many fun traditions, and catching up with people I don’t get to see too often; it doesn’t get any better than that!
Favorite album or artist?
Jack White (and any project he’s been involved it, e.g., The White Stripes, Dead Weathers, etc.)
