Business of Yoga

Join Kimberly Wilson, founder of Tranquil Space, for a two-part candid discussion on the business of yoga. Filled with humor, behind the scenes stories, and tranquility tips, this workshop will leave you with ideas on developing yourself as a teacher, starting and growing a product or service business, and creating a brand.

A little bit of “her story:” Kimberly started the studio in her living room in 1999, added teacher training and a clothing line in 2002, launched a globally-consumed blog in 2004 and podcast in 2005, wrote her first book and co-launched the non-profit arm in 2006, and continues to create.

Part II will explore developing a brand and creating an experience such as time management and life balance, how to balance teaching and your own practice, creating a website and e-courses, marketing, savvy social media, and giving back.
