New teacher often focus their time and energy on verbal assists, but oftentimes more advanced students require a more hands-on approach. In this workshop we will look at ways of moving the body into safe, satisfying and healing postures though more dynamic assists. Although subtle—gentle even, dynamic assists move students into a dramatically deeper expression of the practice. In addition to learning the art of more hands-on physical assists, we will look in detail at working within a students limits, healthy range-of-motion and a number of other principles that will allow you to challenge your students while still keeping them safe and facilitating healing.
