Philippines Typhoon Haiyan Relief
With Kimberly Wilson, from 6:00pm-7:30pm
Join Kimberly Wilson for a candlelit mindful all-level yoga flow focused on cOMpassion for all beings affected in the Philippines. Savor a creative flow, mindfulness meditation, and a chance to make a difference. All proceeds will benefit The Red Cross and Humane Society International. $25 donation requested.

Thanksgiving Yin/Yang Fusion Flow Class
with Danielle Polen from 9:30am-11:00am
Enjoy a reflective yin practice before Thanksgiving! Join Tranquil Space for this charity yoga class, appropriate for all levels. This class will incorporate both yin yoga and yang (or active) yoga. Yin yoga focuses on passive asanas with breath work and meditation to create a very deep, integrated and satisfying practice. Complementary to active vinyasa, yin yoga targets the deep, dense connective tissues of the body — the tendons, ligaments and cartilage — which are difficult to energize and open. $15 suggested donation – money raised will go to So Others Might Eat, a DC group that works on hunger and homelessness issues. Wednesday, November 27th from 6:00pm-7:30pm

Thanksgiving Slow Flow Charity Class
with Anne Thiel from 10:30am-noon
A slower paced flow to balance our fast-paced lives. This practice builds stamina and enhances focus on alignment and detail; it also invites reflection and contemplation into your asana work. The class ends with our traditional savasana and a brief seated meditation to enhance your experience. Suggested donation $15. All proceeds go do So Others Might Eat.

Hips & Heart Charity Class
with Dawn Torti from 2:00pm-3:15pm
Come support the victims of the Super Typhoon, Haiyan with this class lead by TS teachers that will focus on the hips and heart openers. 100% of the donations will be sent to The World Food Program (WFP) which is the food arm of the United Nations is funded entirely by voluntary contributions and is seeking over $100 million for logistics and emergency telecommunications operations over the next six months in areas hit by the typhoon.
$25 suggested donation.

Sunday, December 1st

Charity Class to Benefit Inner City Outings
12:30pm-1:30pm
Join us for an invigorating one-hour, all-levels, $5 charity class benefiting Washington, D.C. Inner City Outings. The class will cover step-back sun salutations, standing poses, hip-openers, seated poses, twists, backbends, and basic inversions. $5 suggested donation. This class will be taught by students in Tranquil Space’s 200-hour Teacher Training Program.
