Yoga for Anxiety, Stress & Insomnia

Anxiety, stress, insomnia share an imbalance of the nervous system and mind. With the constant stimulation of the phone, computers, television not to mention general life ‘happenings’ it’s no wonder we feel stressed and anxious. Learn what keeps your anxiety alive, and find tools to deactivate it. In this workshop, we’ll work with a host of breathing techniques, followed by a gentle yoga practice, ending with more breathing exercises and restorative poses. The combination of these techniques will help calm your nervous system, align the body, allow you to be more present in the moment and slowly grasp how to shift the stories we tell ourselves. We all have the tools to relax within us, learn how to activate those tools and create pathways to relaxation.

    Oh how I wish I was in town for this! It was the perfect message to get today as I am currently struggling with a huge amount of stress and anxiety.
