Yoga for Anxiety Series

Anxiety is a normal part of the human experience. However, it can knock some of us off balance, make us freeze-up, limit our experience in relationships, and block our greater fulfillment and happiness in life. If anxiety is having its way with you, this workshop series is our offering of support. Learn to tame and even befriend anxiety through yoga postures, pranayama (breath-work), and emotional awareness.

    from 7:15 pm to 8:45 pm
    for sessions including a brief lecture, insight-oriented meditation, yoga practice, and group discussion. This is an opportunity to soothe your nervous system, practice yoga, find a safe place for sharing, and embrace the wisdom your anxiety has to offer. Come and let’s create calm together.

Please arrive prepared to practice with comfortable clothes, a yoga mat, hydration, and a personal journal. The yoga practice will be at a intermediate-beginner’s level, previous practice is encouraged. Space is limited to 10 participants, so early registration encouraged.
