Favorite part of teaching yoga?

At the end of class after savasana feeling the energy shift from the beginning of class.- It’s that yoga blissed out state which is so powerful and rewarding for me.

Where did you grow up?

Born in London,England and grew up in South Africa until high school when I moved to Winston- Salem, North Carolina

Favorite book?

The Alchemist by Paulo Coehlo

Favorite piece of art?

I have several pieces of art in my house all done by my husband and friends. I love being surrounded by artwork created by people I know and love, it’s very comforting and inspiring

Favorite food?

I love to eat. My favorite cuisine is Mediterranean, but I also love Indian, Sushi, Italian and Thai. If I had to choose one food, I can’t …

Dream vacation or favorite vacation you’ve ever been on?

I love anything in the Mediterranean! But since I’ve half Greek, Greece is top of the list-specifically the Greek Isles- my 2 favorites, Serifos and Hydra

Favorite yoga pose and why?

Uttanasa, forward fold- feeling that sense of release as I exhale and letting anything weighing on me roll off my back is so freeing

Favorite holiday?

I love all holidays- anything for a celebration- I love celebrating…

If you could be one animal, what would you be and why?

I would love to be reincarnated as a dolphin- they are so graceful, smart, nurturing and caring. I also enjoy dolphin pose AND I love the ocean
