You’ve asked for more detox workshops at TSA! Join me for the next one on Saturday June 8th from 5-7pm for A Sweaty Good Time! We’ll put on the Bob Marley, keep ourselves flowing for a 105-minute heated vinyasa practice, and afterwards, belly up to the bar, for some refreshing frozen piña colada mocktails!
If you’ve never practiced in the heat (studio will be heated to 90 degrees), give it a try! It helps the body to warm more quickly, allowing us to go deeper into our postures. And we’ll turn the fans on for a little island breeze!
We will begin to stoke the inner flame with a series of strong standing sequences, then move into deep hip openers to clear the pelvis. Complete with a variety of twists to wring out the internal organs, awakening and renewing the digestive system, and inversions to stimulate the lymphatic system to aid in flushing impurities from the body, this all-levels practice will be deeply nurturing and cleansing. Modified and advanced variations of poses will be offered.
Please dress in light-weight yoga clothing. Yoga tanks and crops are most comfortable. Please bring a mat (available for rent), towel (hand or full-size), water bottle, and be prepared to sweat! Sign up now, as Jennifer’s last detox workshop sold out! This is a practice you don’t want to miss!
