It’s impossible for me to pick just one, but From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler by E.L. Konigsburg is one of my favorites. It’s the delightful story of a young girl and her younger brother who run away to the Metropolitan Museum of Art to teach their parents a lesson.
Favorite piece of art?
The Swing by Jean-Honoré Fragonard. The colors, the detail, the back story. There’s a lot going on there!
The Sound of Music. Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer make me smile.

Favorite restaurant in DC/VA/MD?
Jaleo. I love the variety of tapas.
Dream vacation or favorite vacation you’ve ever been on?
Australia and New Zealand are at the top of my wish list.
Favorite yoga pose and why?
Balasana, because it’s both relaxing and invigorating. I can catch my breath and/or stretch my muscles. I feel good every time I do it!
