We have an event this week for everyone! A little craft making, a little hip hop, a dose of alignment and of course some mindful stress reduction before the holidays kick into high gear.

TS Labs Open House Thursday, December 15th from 6:30pm-8:30pm

Join us for a little holiday cheer as we celebrate the opening of the new TS Lab space (on the third floor in our Dupont location). This is a free event open to our entire cOMmunity, so we hope you’ll be able to join us to break in our newest addition to the studio.

We have oodles of fun festivities planned:
• a few simple and fun craft projects (orange pomeanders, popcorn garland, and pipe cleaner snowflakes)
• yummy holiday treats and warm libations
• a viewing of Miracle on 34th Street
• a chance to mingle off the mat with some of your fellow yogis and TS team members

Hip Hop Yoga with Kimberly Friday, December 16th from 7:00pm-8:30pm

Join us for a happy hour evening filled with hip hop tunes spun by Marq Few (aka DJ Ten) and an inspiring practice led by Kimberly Wilson. Dive deeper with the sounds of your favorite contemporary artists helping you to lose yourself in the moment and enjoy an energetic flow sequence. $25, members pay $21.25; if you register online $20, members pay $17


Postural Assessment for Teachers of Yoga with Megan Davis Saturday, December 17th from 11:00am-2:00pm

Using Postrual Assessment, we will analyze symmetry and alignment as well as asymmetry and misalignment in the body. This approach sees the body as dynamic—one that holds a particular pattern but one that can be shifted to be more optimal relative to the line of gravity and decrease patterns of collapse. $45, members pay $38.25

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction with Gina Sager Sunday, December 18th from 2:00pm-6:00pm

This experiential workshop explores the use of mindful attention, breath awareness and meditation as catalysts to being fully present for our lives-no matter what. We’ll learn how to respond, rather than react, by cultivating moment to moment, non-judgmental awareness. A brief introduction to stress physiology helps to explain how valuable these tools are for the daily stresses of life. $50, members pay $42.50
