Celebrating the Fall with Yoga in Nature

This past weekend, 16 yogis woke up bright and early to brave the colder temperatures and hit the trails for a day of Yoga in Nature, a karma-based workshop led by Katie and Jen. The day kicked off with a beautiful 6 mile hike through the back country near Shenandoah National Park, followed by a yoga practice in the comfort and warmth of fellow TS yogini Mary Humphrey’s cozy weekend retreat. The group ended their lovely fall day fireside, enjoying delicious homemade soups, s’mores and apple cider. What better way to welcome the Fall?

Due to the great turnout, the karma workshop raised $270 for the Piedmont Environmental Council. A VERY special thank you to Mary, David, Kymber and John for their hospitality–and to all of the yogis who participated in this fun event.

Keep a lookout for information about the next Yoga in Nature event–we’re looking forward to it!
